Are you there Carly?

I'm sure that's what you all are asking yourselves. Like, helllooo did you abandon the Internet so soon. The Internet isn't for the faint of heart. The answer is no! I have been terribly incapacitated on vacation in the always beautiful Carmel, CA. I am lucky enough to have Grandparents who have a second home out here. And a time share in Vail, and that one in Tahoe too, but oh who's counting? I take that back I didn't mean to sound spoiled. But I am, I am spoiled by the ever generous and sweet grandparents. Must be all my wit and charm that makes me so deserving. I am laying awake at 1:18 AM pacific time, and I just grabbed a book out of my bag to read and while reading the inside flap to my bedmate, best friend, and book sharer, Maria, I realized I had already read the book. But time has passed and I'd forgotten the details but I knew I'd liked it the first time. And I thought, these are the best times, when you can't remember the ending of a story you know you love. Maria agreed. The book happens to be a wonderful and silly novel entitled, "Bergdorf Blondes," by Plum Sykes. Something tells me that's a pen name... Or maybe just a baby boomer... Either way the book is so wonderful a little love and wit and a little Designer name dropping. I think I like it so much because the narrator who loves to use the words tres and moi, reminds me of an adult Eloise. Like from my beloved children's series. Well I advise you females to pick it up, it's a fun read. But other then this the west coast is treating me wonderfully. Filling me up with delicious foods and beautiful art and nature. As well as wonderful company. I'm attaching some pictures that will hopefully make you all supremely jealous!
